REV. JOHN HAGAN

Spiritual Teacher, Minister, Mystic, Business and Life Coach, Organizational Development Trainer, and Seminar Speaker

Rev. John was raised in the Christian Science Church and studied at the Unity School of Christianity, ultimately becoming a licensed Religious Science Practitioner. He and his wife, Rev. Nora Jean Hagan, are Ordained Agape ministers.

John also studied Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) with Tony Robbins and received his certification. Growing up in Washington, D.C., he attended the University of the District of Columbia. He is the eldest of two sons. His mother was a chemistry professor, and his father was an attorney and executive. Since he was a pre-teen, John found religious dogma problematic and began searching for a broader understanding of the Omnipresent and Omnipotent God. This exploration led him to the spiritual insights of Joel S. Goldsmith’s "The Infinite Way" and to Neurotheology, which now guide his intense perspective of the Universe and a non-anthropomorphic conception of God.

Rev. John studies under four master teachers: Yeshua Ben Yosef (Jesus), Joel S. Goldsmith (bestselling author of "The Art of Meditation" and founder of The Infinite Way), Sir Roger Penrose (Emeritus Professor at Oxford, expert in Quantum Consciousness, and Nobel Laureate in Physics), and Dr. Andrew Newberg (neuroscientist, psychiatrist, researcher in Neurotheology and Nuclear Medicine, bestselling author, and professor of Integrative Medicine, Nutritional Science, and Religious Studies).

Currently, Rev. John is collaborating with Rev. Nora Jean Hagan to develop The Foundation for Critical Growth, their spiritual education platform dedicated to helping people achieve higher levels of consciousness and implement definitive strategies to fulfill their potential and live their extraordinary divine purpose of excellence and spiritual mastery.

Rev. Nora Jean Hagan

"I have been on the spiritual path for most of my life."

Hi friends! Like many of you, my spiritual journey has been a winding, beautiful path. I grew up in the Southern Baptist church, but even as a child, I felt a deep, inner guidance – a whisper of Spirit – leading me. It's been my constant companion through life's ups and downs, including navigating two divorces and raising my wonderful children in Wichita, Kansas.

At 35, while working as a Radiology Tech, that inner voice nudged me towards Wichita State University. I started with Mass Communication, but my heart truly belonged to creative writing. Then, Spirit called again, this time to Kansas City, where I found a spiritual home at Unity Temple on the Plaza.

Throughout those years, I also poured my heart into my sister's ministry, PATH Ministries. I found deep fulfillment in editing the monthly newsletter, The VinePress, writing metaphysical Bible articles, and assisting with classes. Yet, I felt a persistent whisper, a gentle nudge from Spirit, telling me there was more. More to experience, more to do. Trusting that inner guidance, I took a leap of faith and left my 25-year career in the medical profession, believing Spirit would guide me to my next adventure.

That adventure began in 1996 when I married John Hagan, and we moved to San Diego, California. It was there, in the vibrant spiritual landscape of San Diego, that Agape International Spiritual Center came into our lives. John and I embarked on a shared spiritual journey, deepening our paths while growing together. At Agape, we both felt called to serve, completing practitioner training in 2001 and ministerial studies in 2009. Finally, in 2019, we were both ordained, culminating in our shared devotion and trust in Spirit's leading."

Over the years, I've been blessed to serve in so many ways: directing student affairs at Agape, volunteering with the homeless, offering pastoral care, and connecting with fellow 'Wise Ones' – a truly rich and fulfilling adventure!

I believe we're all on a journey of growth and wholeness, for ourselves and for our planet. And honestly, I feel like a midwife helping to bring that beautiful evolution to life. I’m passionate about living life to the fullest, and I’m so excited to connect with you!
